As we are all aware AT&T started to unlock there iPhone if you are out of contract. But what to do if you are overseas and can not contact them by phone. well simple solution to that is simple contact them by email: unlockintl@amcustomercare.att- mail.com  I have not yet personally tested, but some forums state success using this email. iPhone finally allowed to be unlocked from at&t Some great news as from yesterday att unlocks iPhone which contracts has expired . All you have to do is ring there customer support and ask to unlock your iPhone, they will provide with instructions how to do it, and you are FREE. Also this service is free, but prepare to hold for an hour at least as cue is huge. Must note it only applies to those, who's contracts has ended, also you will not be able to unlock if you found iPhone locked to AT&T, if your phone is blocked due to not paid bill etc. than you out of luck, AT&T will not unlock your iPhone.
