But what to do if you are overseas and can not contact them by phone. well simple solution to that is simple contact them by email: unlockintl@amcustomercare.att- mail.com  I have not yet personally tested, but some forums state success using this email. All you have to do is ring there customer support and ask to unlock your iPhone, they will provide with instructions how to do it, and you are FREE.
